Accommodations Blocks of rooms have been set aside at the Four Points Sheraton and at the residence on campus. The Four Points Sheraton is an all-suite hotel and is offering a conference rate starting at $139.00 per night based on double occupancy. This rate entitles you to a basic suite, which includes a bedroom and separate living room with a sofa bed, microwave, and small refrigerator. Larger suites are also available. To reserve your accommodations at the Four Points Sheraton call their toll free number 1-877-848-3782 and indicate that you would like to book a room for the Child and Youth Rights Conference (you must cite the conference when booking or you won't receive the discount). The rooms for the conference will be held until May 15, 2006 and then any unreserved rooms will be released back to the hotel. Be sure to book by May 15, 2006 to receive the preferred rate. Please note the following policies at the Four Points Sheraton. Reservations cannot be cancelled or modified within 48 hours of arrival. If you depart early, there is a 50% early departure charge. There is a $10 room charge for each additional adult in a room (based on double occupancy). Group rates are based on a minimum of 10 suites sold. If less than ten suites are sold, all rooms may be assigned the current rack rate. Check in time is 3 p.m. and check out time is 11 am. There is a late fee of $50.00 for departures after check out time. If there is a departure after 4 p.m., a full nights fee will apply. One of the campus residences, Valley Residence, is also holding a block of rooms for the conference. These rooms are single occupancy and every two rooms share a bath. The rate is $46.00 + tax = $51.52 per person per night. These rooms may be reserved by calling Brock University at (905) 688-5550, ext. 3369.
